I need to change the spark plugs in my 2014 1200F.

Is it as easy as the shop manual below suggests? Any helpful hints?

So far, so good.

Managed to access the front spark plugs, which are the most difficult apparently and will attack the rears shortly.

This guy on YT helped with removing the tank cover though he does drone on a bit with his own issues rather than focussing on the bike.

The air cleaner has not been touched since the factory, which is my bad as I've only ever had annual services due to low annual mileage. Still, it's only a few 000miles overdue (16k replace, my bikes done 26K) but still needed replacing!

Putting everything back together in the right order and ensuring everything is connected and to the correct connection is a little daunting!

Don't you just love the phrase "Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal".

So, put all the plumbing and electrical connections back together, hopefully in the correct way, crossed my fingers and.....she started first press.

Now to get the fairings back on.

All done and back to bed.

Those bloody fairings though, you need long thin fingers
