Vfr for the long haul

Post by Airwalk »

Can’t recall exact year I got my 1st 4th(‘05?). Anyway, back when Texas vfr garage was the go to forum, a couple decades ago. Odo now reads 334k klms, still going strong, have an’86 that’ll pass 100k miles in the next little while, it’s also behaving well. Biggest pia on the ‘95 was replacing brgs in rear hub, ‘86 developed an intermittent failure of 1 coil in pulse generator assy that almost drove me crazy.
Will keep hoping my luck holds🫤

Hi Airwalk. Welcome!

But was the Texas VFR Garage actually a forum? I remember it, but in the context of the old VF/VFR Mailing List, as a collection of "useful links" and archived content. Somewhere I have a couple of binders full of printed out content from the VFR List and elsewhere...yes, printed on actual paper!

Not very useful, I have to say, in hindsight...

It's still around. VFR World hosts it.
