After setting up the basic on the board / forum, I would like to introduce myself a bit.
In real life working as mechatronics engineer and close to half a century old.
Bought my bike in 2006 having 25000 km and currently around 140000 km on it.
When the kids came she faded a bit to the background, but returned strong after I felt the need to show my nephew how it was done.
Regularly using it for riding to work (190 km there and back) and occasionally taking it out for an actual spin during a weekend in Germany.
I admit I once or twice cheated on her with a BMW s1000xr 1st Gen (rented in Austria).
She failed me once, but I blame the bought cabling kit for RR (rectifyer-regulator).
Up till now I have done all maintenance and upgrades myself.
Many winter periods, some part of the bike comes apart.
Best modification(s) up till now: Ohlins rear suspension + upgraded front suspension with BD20 from DMr.
Next to that, I enjoy mountain biking, some 3D modelling/printing, PCB design and programming and in general 'I want to do it myself'
