I don't have many valuable tips or tricks of my own, so I will - standing on the shoulders of giants - recommend any VF/VFR owner to dedicate a few hours of study to the "V4 Dreams" website as it is a marvel of good information for the DIY'er and a good supplement to the workshop manuals (mostly) available in the download section of this site.
